Today’s post (#8 of 31) covers Dan Fogelberg’s “The Reach”.  I am performing this solo with my wife Kathi managing the camera. Dan Fogelberg was one of my greatest inspirations, his music is so incredibly melodic and his lyrics are beyond beautiful. Henry Diltz, the great music photographer, recently described Fogelberg as  “a real Renaissance man who painted, photographed, cooked, wrote, and played divine music” . I chose to sing this particular song as Fall was approaching…and this piece speaks to that perfectly.
